We are a proud and growing community club delivering youth, senior and inclusive football for boys and girls of all abilities. Established in 1998, we’ve grown into a thriving football family of over 300 members across Hertford and the Surrounding areas.

Based at Hertford Town FC ground, our players benefit from fantastic facilities, including a top class 4G pitch. As a charter standard club affiliated with the Hertfordshire FA we’re passionate about quality coaching, inclusivity, and developing player both on and off the pitch.

We play to compete, we play to improve-and most importantly, we play for the love of the game. All wrapped up in a fun, positive and supportive environment.

Hertford Town Youth Football Club is dedicated to giving children the opportunity to learn, grow, and develop a lifelong love for the game in a safe, supportive, and positive environment.

At the heart of our ethos is a commitment to providing top-class coaching while instilling the values of sportsmanship, respect, and fair play. While competition is encouraged, we believe it should always go hand in hand with respect for our opponents and the game we all love.

Teamwork is key at HTYFC. Our players are coached not only to enjoy their football and express themselves on the pitch, but to do so in the right manner. We believe that teams who play together, support one another, and work as a unit are the ones that truly succeed — with every player contributing to both development and enjoyment.

Player development is central to everything we do. Our fully qualified coaches are committed to supporting each child’s footballing journey while upholding the highest standards of child safeguarding and welfare. The safety and wellbeing of our players is our top priority, and we work hard to ensure all children feel valued, respected, and protected at all times.

Hertford Town Youth FC is proud to be a 3 Star FA Accredited club, this means we’re officially recognised as being one of the best grassroots clubs in the county by The FA.
